William Heckler’s Flea Circus

William Heckler’s famed Flea Circus at Hubert’s Museum on 42nd Street in New York opened in 1926. Prior to that, in the intervening years when his son Leroy traded off duties at Hubert’s, William had Flea Circuses set-up at Dreamland in Coney Island and for one season at Willow Grove Park, an amusement park located in Willow Grove, Pennsylvania. This rare view is most probably from the Willow Grove location.
