Kraus published both souvenir postcards and movie lobby cards. Generally their work consisted of half-tone lithography of lesser quality, i.e. cheaper to produce and sell. Postcards featuring freaks, vaudeville players, and movie stars made up their primary output.

Kraus' "wood-bordered" postcard series were seemingly made exclusively for performers who appeared at Coney Island. A checklist of this series is in the works.
