Born Annie R. Rothlein in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania on July 16, 1863, her stage name was Annie Redline. Also known as Mary R. Larabee, aka Mrs. J.Henry Larabee after her marriage, she moved with her parents to Sabetha, Kansas when she was 11 years old. She began to gain weight at age 16, and did not stop until her death when she weighed 640 pounds.
