Spotted Boy

Rare and emasculating piece of sideshow history, where a African-American piebald man wrapped with snakes in his mid-50's is billed as a "Spotted Boy." Though many white men with anomalous bodies were called "boy" as well-- most famous of which was Stanley Barent who was called "Sealo, The Seal-Boy"-- calling a black man "boy" might be seen today as humiliating, if not racist.
