James W. Zaharee Souvenir Rice Writing From Ripley's Odditorium, 1935

Business Card with grain of rice glued to it. These artifacts were sold as souvenirs and made while patrons waited by the performing microscopy artist James Zaharee. The rice grain has the words "Ripley- Believe It Or Not" written on it in tiny letters, seen clearly with magnification. Zaharee exhibited at Ripley's Odditorium during the San Diego Expo in 1935.
