James W. Zaharee Souvenir Rice Writer Card for Johnnie Fern McDill

Business Card with Grain of rice glued to it. Rice writing was done by James Zaharee and has the words "1936, Miniature Mae West, Johnnie Fern McDill, C.P.I.E." which can be seen clearly with magnification. The California Pacific International Exposition opened in San Diego in Spring 1935 and Ripley's Odditorium featured many freaks and strange attractions, including Zaharee who made souvenirs by doing microscopic writing on rice grains.
