Austin & Stone Museum Program, 1895

This four-page, single-sheet, folded program for the famed Austin & Stone's Museum is notable for the excellent cut of baby chimpanzee holding a baby doll on its cover. A very popular feature attraction for the Museum, Gumbo, Jr. was billed as "The Famous $10,000 Baby Gorilla, and as son of "Gumbo, Sr." a purported gorilla that also appeared at the Museum.
