"Armless Girl" Tradecard Souvenir (Possibly Ann Leak)

These two identical unidentified line-drawing cards of an armless girl playing a lute-like instrument with a bow, with her feet, were discovered together. They are marked "SOUVENIER"--a chiefly obsolete, alternative spelling of souvenir. Possibly these were sold by Ann Leak as the handwriting on them is similar to hers on later copies of her CDV's. Though Ann Leak never played a musical instrument. Writing on both cards in the collection are the names of the purchaser rather than a signature from the performer.
